The ACNielsen Global Food Labeling Survey was conducted in 38 markets across North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and South Africa. More than 21,000 consumers were surveyed online in May of 2005 to gauge when they check nutritional panels on food packaging, how well they understand nutritional information on packaging and what they look for on labels.
