The ACNielsen Global Consumer Confidence and Opinions Survey was conducted in 38 markets across North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and South Africa. More than 21,000 consumers were surveyed online in May of 2005 to gauge their feelings towards the past and future state of their local economies, what they usually do with any extra cash they may have, and what issues and concerns trouble them the most.
